WORDISMO PLAY PRIVACY POLICY

This Privacy Policy explains how Wordismo Play collects, uses, stores, shares, and protects information when you use the Wordismo Play mobile game, its related online services, and its support and account-deletion pages.

Wordismo Play is operated by Seçkin Esen Şahıs Şirketi, also referred to in this policy as “Wordismo,” “we,” “us,” or “our.”

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Guest Player Information

You may play Wordismo Play without creating or connecting an account. Guest progress is primarily stored locally on your device.

Guest information may include:

  • A locally generated player identifier

  • Username and selected avatar

  • Game progress, completed stages, stars, scores, streaks, XP, and coins

  • Daily Challenge records

  • Unfinished game sessions

  • Game settings and language preference

  • Reward and purchase-delivery records needed to prevent duplicate rewards

Guest gameplay progress is not synchronized to our cloud services unless you connect an account or use an online feature that requires server communication.

1.2 Connected Account Information

If you choose to save or synchronize your progress using Apple or Google, we may receive:

  • Your authentication provider and provider account identifier

  • Your email address, when supplied by Apple or Google

  • A Wordismo Player ID

  • Connected login methods

  • Account creation and last sign-in information

  • Your username and avatar

  • Cloud-synchronized progress, wallet, rewards, settings, and unfinished sessions

Apple or Google may provide limited profile information according to your settings with those providers. Wordismo Play does not receive your Apple or Google password.

Authentication and cloud synchronization are provided using Supabase.

1.3 Gameplay and Competitive Information

When you participate in online or competitive features, we may process:

  • Public username, avatar, verified score, rank, and streak

  • Game mode, challenge date, and completion information

  • Accepted gameplay actions required to verify an official result

  • Timing, hint, skip, reveal, and answer-result events

  • Submission status, validation result, app version, and platform

  • Security and integrity verification results

  • Cryptographic hashes used to identify and validate submissions

Raw competitive gameplay transcripts are processed to verify results but are not retained as general analytics records. Sanitized security records may be stored to detect cheating, abuse, replayed submissions, or invalid score requests.

Your public leaderboard profile does not display your email address, authentication provider identifier, or private account identifier.

1.4 Purchases and Entitlements

Purchases are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play. Purchase and entitlement management is supported by RevenueCat.

We may process:

  • Product identifier

  • Transaction or purchase identifier

  • Purchase status and date

  • Coin-delivery status

  • Remove Ads entitlement status

  • Restore-purchase status

We do not directly receive or store your full payment-card details. Payment information is handled by Apple or Google under their own privacy policies.

Coin purchases and advertising rewards do not increase competitive scores, leaderboard points, or rankings.

1.5 Advertising Information

Wordismo Play may display forced advertisements and optional rewarded advertisements through Google Mobile Ads.

Depending on your location, device settings, age-related settings, and consent choices, advertising services may process:

  • Advertising identifiers

  • IP address and approximate location derived from it

  • Device and operating-system information

  • App interactions and ad performance

  • Consent and privacy-choice status

  • Fraud-prevention and security signals

Where required, we request consent before using information for personalized advertising. You may review available advertising privacy choices from the app’s Settings screen.

Purchasing Remove Ads removes future forced advertisements. Optional rewarded advertisements may remain available.

1.6 Analytics and Crash Information

We use Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics to understand app performance and improve stability.

This information may include:

  • Pseudonymous player identifier

  • App screens and gameplay events

  • Device type, operating system, platform, and app version

  • Approximate session and interaction information

  • Diagnostic logs, crash reports, and technical error information

We do not intentionally include puzzle answers, passwords, payment-card information, or private authentication tokens in analytics events.

1.7 Coupon and Promotion Information

When you redeem a coupon or promotional code, we may process the code, your Wordismo Player ID, redemption date, reward amount, and whether the code has already been used.

Coupon redemption requires a connected account to prevent duplicate or unauthorized use.

1.8 Support and Website Information

If you contact us, we may receive your email address, the content of your message, attachments you provide, and information needed to resolve your request.

Our Wordismo Play legal and support pages are hosted using Wix. Wix may process technical logs, IP addresses, cookies, and similar website information according to its own privacy practices.

2. How We Use Information

We use information to:

  • Provide and operate Wordismo Play

  • Save and synchronize connected-account progress

  • Restore progress on another device

  • Authenticate Apple and Google accounts

  • Process purchases, restore entitlements, and deliver purchased coins

  • Provide advertisements and rewarded-ad benefits

  • Manage coupons and prevent duplicate redemption

  • Verify competitive results and maintain fair leaderboards

  • Detect fraud, cheating, abuse, and security incidents

  • Diagnose crashes and improve performance

  • Respond to support, privacy, and deletion requests

  • Comply with legal obligations

  • Protect the rights, safety, and integrity of players and our services

3. Legal Bases

Where applicable, we process personal data based on:

  • Performance of our agreement with you

  • Your consent, including advertising consent where required

  • Our legitimate interests in operating, securing, and improving the game

  • Compliance with legal obligations

  • Establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims

You may withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. Withdrawal does not affect processing completed before withdrawal.

4. Service Providers and Data Sharing

We may share limited information with service providers that help operate Wordismo Play, including:

  • Supabase: authentication, database, cloud synchronization, and server functions

  • Apple and Google: account authentication, app distribution, and payment processing

  • RevenueCat: purchase and entitlement management

  • Google Mobile Ads: advertising and advertising-consent services

  • Firebase: analytics and crash reporting

  • Wix: hosting of legal, support, and account-deletion pages

We may also disclose information when legally required, to protect users or our services, or in connection with a lawful business transfer.

We do not sell personal information for money. Some advertising activities may be considered “sharing,” “targeted advertising,” or similar processing under certain privacy laws. Where required, applicable consent and opt-out controls are provided.

5. International Transfers

Our service providers may process information in countries other than your country of residence. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards and the transfer mechanisms offered by our service providers.

6. Data Retention

We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy.

In general:

  • Local guest progress remains on the device until it is cleared or the application is removed, subject to device backups.

  • Connected-account information remains while the account is active.

  • Purchase and entitlement records may be retained to deliver purchases, process restoration, prevent duplicate rewards, and meet legal obligations.

  • Competitive and security records may be retained to protect leaderboard integrity and investigate abuse.

  • Support communications may be retained while necessary to resolve requests and establish a record of the response.

  • Information required by tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, or other laws may be retained for the legally required period.

  • Aggregated or irreversibly anonymized information may be retained because it no longer identifies you.

After an approved deletion request, account-linked information is removed from active systems unless retention is required by law, security, fraud-prevention, dispute resolution, or legitimate record-keeping obligations. Backup copies are removed through routine backup-retention cycles.

We may request reasonable verification to prevent unauthorized deletion. Deletion is permanent and may remove synchronized progress, virtual currency, rewards, leaderboard participation, and connected login methods.

Apple and Google may retain independent transaction or account records under their own policies.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to:

  • Learn whether your personal data is processed

  • Request access to your personal data

  • Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information

  • Request deletion or restriction

  • Object to certain processing

  • Withdraw consent

  • Request data portability where applicable

  • Submit a complaint to the competent data-protection authority

Users in Türkiye may exercise their rights under Article 11 of Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data.

Requests may be sent to info@wordismo.com. We may request information necessary to verify identity and protect the account.

9. Children

Wordismo Play is not directed to children under 13. Users below the applicable digital-consent age in their country should use the service only with authorization and supervision from a parent or legal guardian.

If you believe a child has provided personal information without appropriate authorization, contact info@wordismo.com.

10. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, including authenticated access, restricted database permissions, encrypted network communication, server-side validation, and security monitoring.

No electronic transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when Wordismo Play, legal requirements, or our service providers change. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
